Hi everybody! My name's hermieluver, but most people just call me hermie. As you might have guessed, I love hermies (i.e. land hermit crabs)! I also love reading, writing, Latin and the Classics, playing select video games and card games, and art.

Speaking of art, my two main concentrations here on dA are the Abstract genre and the Artisan Crafts genre. It's ironic that I love abstract so much because I am very critical of contemporary art, but that's just the way things turned out. I also enjoy making pendants and necklaces, although I occasionally do a bracelet and even more occasionally, a ring.

Feel free to browse around my gallery. I have a collection--still pretty small--for my abstract work and a considerably larger collection for my jewelry. I also have a few handfuls of miscellaneous stuff floating around, as well as some older stuff in my scraps. I enjoy writing tutorials, and hope to add many more to the two that I currently have.

Hi Hermie :D I've got a request for you to critique something that I drew. I submitted a picture into my gallery called ';Paul's portrait' and while I was drawing it it looked really good, but now that I look at it, the picture looks odd. If you could find the time, I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at it and give me your honest opinion :D

Hah, love your screen name :D I found a hermit crab in the ocean a while back and named it Hermie XD Of course, I had to leave it in the ocean because it was not a land crab ~_~

At least you knew to put it back! Some people take them home, and then they die. :( But it's neat that you found one in The Wild. I love going to the beach for that very reason.

Yeah :D I actually found 29 of them XD Hermie was the 25th, but he was just so awesome I had to name him :D It's actually easy to get them in some beaches- If you feel a shell like thing at your feet, pick it up and it will probably be a hermit crab :) I also found a complete sanddollar this way :D
